For Clay, playing marbles started as a hobby when he was a kid. As an adult, he wanted to play a marble game that allowed for the same excitement and strategy that marbles held for him as a child.
So Clay designed his own marble game—called Bullies—which he introduced to kids at a local toy store's marble tournament. It was an instant hit. Bullies proved easy for the kids to learn, but strategic enough to be addictive for the adults too.
Marble players, beware of the Bullies!
The game: Shoot marbles out of a ring using your shooter marble without hitting the Bully marbles. Players may keep the marbles they shoot out, or just play for points. The Judge marble is worth bonus marbles/points. Then, for the endgame, scrap it out to see who really runs the playground! Play for keeps, or for points.
The book: Includes diagrams, a glossary, variations of difficulty (from beginner to expert), and a dry erase score card on the back. It's designed to fit in your back pocket, so you can take your copy to the game and teach your friends.
